About Chrissy Duncan, CRNFA
Chrissy originally grew up in Oklahoma where she received her degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma. She worked in Tulsa as an operating room nurse for the first four years of her career. After moving to Dallas, she excelled in Cardiothoracic surgery and became a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant. After starting a family, she transitioned to Plastic surgery and is now the Practice Director and Dr. Godat’s surgical assistant. She has worked with Dr. Godat now for 14 years. With her warm and compassionate approach to patient care she is constantly raved about by our patients. She truly is the glue that holds it all together here at Godat Plastic Surgery.

Simi was born and raised in Dallas and has always known that nursing was her true calling. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University and has been a travel nurse in various neonatal ICU’s in Texas ever since. Five years later, she is thrilled to be transitioning to plastic surgery and couldn’t be more excited to join the team! In her spare time, you can find her cooking up a new recipe in the kitchen, cracking jokes with friends and family, or soaking in the sun at the beach. She is passionate about aesthetics and is committed to making every patients’ care her number one priority.
Tamara recently graduated from Texas State University, majoring in business management. After college she completed The Forge Leadership Training Program where she learned about diversity, leadership and personal and professional growth. With this training it led Tamara to Godat Plastic Surgery. With a passion for people and to help wherever she can, Tamara hopes to make this her lifelong career.
Kaila Garay has 13 years of administrative experience. For the first 5 years of her career, she worked in the office, dental and home health fields and for the last 8 years has been in the medical field. Kaila has been an Administrative Assistant for Dr. Godat for 2 years. She loves interacting with patients and advocating for them.
