A forehead lift or brow lift is a procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired. Dr. Godat will evaluate your brow in conjunction with your eyelids. The incisions are well hidden behind the temporal hairline.
Why to consider a brow lift?
Sagginess in eyelid upper skin
Raises the eyebrows to a more alert and youthful position
Smooths forehead creases and frown lines.
Recovery & Results
The return-to-work time is usually one week depending on your own healing capacity. Almost all of the bruising and swelling is resolved within the first week, however six weeks or more are required to see final result. The incisions take a full three weeks to heal.
