We are experienced in what insurance is looking for to be eligible for coverage. Although this procedure is purely for aesthetic purposes, we can help you with this process.
After examination with Dr. Godat, we will provide you with a decision regarding medical eligibility.
Each insurance entity has its own timeline for authorization approvals. This process can take 1-6 weeks. We submit to your insurance company within three business days after your consultation and will notify you immediately of the determination.
In cases wherein this surgery isn’t approved by your provider, we offer you a flexible payment plan.
Yes! We work with CareCredit to provide you with convenient, low-interest financing for any of our plastic surgery procedures.
CareCredit like a credit card that is used exclusively for healthcare and cosmetic surgery services.
In addition to using CareCredit financing for surgery, you can use your card for follow-up appointments or additional procedures so that you can schedule appointments to fit your lifestyle.

Silicone implants have come a long way. You can choose different shapes depending on how you want your breasts to look.
Today, they are made of “form-stable” silicone that keeps its shape in your body and goes well with gravity and movement.
This eliminates rippling and uneven contours that are typically seen in saline implants. In addition, the feel of silicone implants is much softer and more natural than saline.
On average, a full recovery period usually takes about four to six weeks. For best results, we recommend keeping away from strenuous activities that could disturb your breast tissues from adapting to their new form.
Those activities include lifting weights, having sexual activities, taking care of children, or doing housework.
You should still be able to breastfeed with implants. Dr. Godat’s years of experience performing breast augmentation on patients planning to breastfeed lets you have the peace of mind that your breast tissues and mammary glands, including milk ducts, won’t get damaged along with the procedure.
Every patient is different. Results may last well over 10 years. Furthermore, most silicone implants are FDA approved for 10-20 years.
After a few weeks with your breast implants, your breasts will begin to bounce and adapt to gravity as the skin around the area stretches and muscles begin to relax. Swelling will subside, and your implants will move to a natural-looking procedure.
Implants will begin to settle down with your natural contour around the four to six week mark.
The best way to maintain the results of a breast augmentation is to consult with your board certified plastic surgeon. Your doctor may prescribe you exercise, clothing, medications, and post-surgery care to maintain your breast augmentation results at their best.
At Godat Plastic Surgery, we also recommend our patients undergo breast lift surgery and internal bra surgery for lasting results.
If your augmentations are in good condition, your surgeon may prescribe a breast lift or an internal bra surgery to keep your breasts perkier and preserve their volume. Breast lift allows the skin around your breasts to hold the implants and your breast tissues securely without sagging.
